ibis Styles Stockholm Odenplan

We stayed in a room located in the basement. The interior along the hallway is quite interesting. The room size is a bit small but the bathroom is quite spacious. Overall it is quite good. The front desk is quite helpful. The breakfast is quite varied and delicious. We checked out very early before breakfast started, and we got a good breakfast bag

It will be better if you offer flexibility to book rooms without breakfast for this economy Accor hotel. Guests may later decide to have breakfast in your facility, and they will be happy to pay for that. But forcing them to pay for a room with breakfast doesn't give them more flexibility unless your breakfast time is extended.nnThe rates of the rooms in this hotel are high, I used to book rooms in mid-scale and premium Accor Hotels with the same rate this economy hotel is offering.nnI had welcome drinks in different Ibis hotels, and the experience was amazing. But, in this hotel, that experience was a bit disappointing. Sorry!nnNonetheless, the location of the hotel is good, and all the 3 ladies in the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Rooms are very nice and their size is more than adequate, but they came with troubles like a broken showerhead and broken seal so the whole bathroom would flood. Breakfast was variegated and delicious and especially the location was interesting, down in the rocks. Parking is metered outside but hard to find.

We staid for a few nights. The hotel is well located at Odenplan with bus and metro. Parking is not a available. We parked in a public parking garage at St Eriksplan a few km away. There are charging stations on every spot but really slow charging.nnThe Rooms… there is carpet floor which I find very unhygienic. The room looks used and worn down. There was also dirt from the guests before us. The bathroom ist very very small. Showering is in the middle of the room and gets the whole floor wet. Our shower curtain had some disgusting stains - we asked for a new one and got one the next day.nNo Refrigerator in the room.nThe good thing: the bed was big.nnBreakfast: is basically in the basement. They have seating upstairs as well, but the buffet is downstairs. It was always crowded. 1 out of 2 spoons where dirty.nOtherwise the food was ok.nnNote: Photos were taken with wide angle mode.

Rooms are rather small when compared to other Ibis Hotels but the rooms were vere clean.nnThe location is 10 minutes from the Central station with good public transportation connections.
